SEC System Engineering Consulting joined the Upliift portfolio as our fifth Italian acquisition in 18 months. Founded by Luca Prazzoli in Milan in 2001, SEC specialises in ERP integrations and mobile applications for remote professionals. Investment was not on Luca’s agenda — but he recognised SEC needed capital to innovate. Permanent equity gave him a way to bring in investment without losing the company’s identity. He stayed on as CEO, backed by cashflow-positive vertical software investors in Europe.

We are pleased to announce that SEC System Engineering Consulting has joined the Upliift portfolio. This marks our fifth investment in Italy within 18 months, reinforcing our commitment to partnering with highly specialised B2B software companies across Europe. 

SEC is a recognised leader in IT systems and ERP integrations, with a strong emphasis on mobile app development for professionals working remotely.
